Proteus Power, a newly formed company that develops renewable energy projects, has opened its North American operations in Texas with the establishment of its headquarters in The Woodlands. Proteus Power, which is led by industry veterans and supported by PelionGreen Future, a global clean energy investor, has a target of developing and constructing more than 3GW of solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects across North America.
Proteus currently evaluates over 30 renewable projects in its initial target regions of Texas, Arizona and Nevada, Utah. Colorado, Colorado, New Mexico, Colorado, Colorado, New Mexico, and Alberta, Canada. Proteus is currently developing three solar projects in Alberta, with a combined capacity of 234MW and 97 MW of storage.
Mike Lambros, Randy Etheridge, Chief Operating Officer (CEO), and Dan Phillips, Chief Development Officer (CDO) lead the management team.
