The VelociWrapper Co. received a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Its flagship product, VelociWrapper, was awarded a patent. It is a cable-wrapping system that increases speed, efficiency, and lowers costs for wind and sun farm installations in the renewable energy sector.
“Due to the demand for our machine, we have already outgrown our first facility and are currently moving our manufacturing operations into a facility five times the size to accommodate the growth,” explains Torrance Bistline, the founder and inventor of the VelociWrapper. “We have more patents and innovations in the works as well which we will be unveiling soon.”
VelociWrapper runs on no motorized power. Once the cables have been laid using the triplexing machine, it contributes 5-8% more efficiency to the transfer of energy to its destination. This reduces heat, and extends the cable’s lifespan.
