New Energy Equity LLC acquired Impact Power Solutions (IPS Solar). ALLETE Inc. recently announced it was acquiring New Energy Equity which includes IPS Solar for $165.5million. IPS Solar will continue to use its logo and corporate headquarters in Roseville (Minn).

AlleTE and New Energy Equity expect the purchase to close in mid April, subject to satisfying customary closing conditions including compliance with Hart Scott-Rodino antitrust clearing.
