Energywell LLC launched a community-solar business that provides revenue management and customer origination services to community solar developers in the United States. Energywell’s Shift Community Solar, and SolarStreet brands will offer community solar products that are integrated with its range of renewable electricity products. These products will be available in Fall 2022.
Energywell will be using its Proton technology platform. This platform enables seamless digital experiences for customers and features that are designed to serve community solar developers as well as asset owners. Stephen Condon has been hired by Energywell to help grow its community solar business.
“The community solar market is set to experience rapid growth in the coming years as the U.S. Department of Energy announced a new National Community Solar Partnership target to power the equivalent of five million households by 2025,” says Michael Fallquist, director and co-CEO of Energywell. “We view our entry into the community solar market as aligned with our mission to be a catalyst for the sustainable energy transition.”
