Ameren Missouri, a subsidiary Ameren Corp. announced an agreement to acquire a 150 MW project for sustainable energy solutions from Invenergy. Invenergy is a developer, owner, and operator of sustainable energies solutions. The deal is subjected both to regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
“We’re entering the next phase of our clean energy transition while continuing to serve our customers with reliable, affordable energy,” says Mark Birk, chairman and president of Ameren Missouri.
The project could start generating clean energy as soon 2024 if it receives all the regulatory approvals.
“This is another important step in demonstrating the company’s commitment to clean energy and achieving our net-zero carbon emissions goal,” comments Ajay Arora, chief renewable development
